These spot illustrations were more of a passion project and something I worked on in my spare time. I had so much fun creating this spread and working on all the individual illustrations. There was a lot of exploration of simple objects and abstract ideas. This project was created for a workshop I joined on skillshare.com titled, "Create Small Illustrations with Big Impact" hosted by Tom Froese.
As an avid Dungeons & Dragons player, I thought it would be fun to work on D&D spot illustrations. Early on in a new campaign as the Wizard class, you choose an Arcane Tradition, which shapes your character’s practice of magic through eight different schools. Since D&D is all about role-playing, I thought it would be interesting for any copy to be addressing the Wizard character rather than the player.
